Dr. Michael S. Valdez is a physician specializing in addiction medicine and psychiatric care, with a medical degree from UCLA, advanced neurology training at Loma Linda University, and a psychiatric fellowship completed in 2018. His work focuses on treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders through evidence-based psychotherapy and individualized medication management, including innovative detoxification approaches designed to support long-term recovery. Guided by personal experience and deep clinical expertise, Dr. Valdez delivers compassionate, patient-centered care and remains actively engaged in advancing best practices through his involvement with the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Tami Tucker has been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Organizational Psychologist for over 20 years. She has been working with clients struggling with addiction in both inpatient and outpatient settings for the length of her career. She applies her unique skill set to not only treating those with co-occurring disorders, but as a consultant in helping organizations develop and improve programs. She mentors, trains, and supervises interns as they earn their clinical hours toward being licensed. Her approach to supervision and training is to ensure that these therapists thoroughly understand the standards of care in treating addiction and co-occurring disorders and that they provide state-of-the-art therapy techniques/approaches so that their clients have the best chance to not only recover from their addiction but optimize their lives.
Dr. Lori Bohn received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, her Doctorate degree from Chiropractic College West, her Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) at Wayland Baptist University and her Masters degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University. She is a Board Certified PMHNP-BC with over a decade of experience in Integrative medicine specializing in Women’s Health. Dr. Bohn is passionate about Addiction Psychiatry and thrives to bridge the gap between Conventional medicine and Integrative medicine. She strives to address the impact that trauma has on the mind and body from an emotional and biochemical perspective in order to maximize healing. In addition, Dr. Bohn has received a Fellowship in Integrative Psychiatry from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and a Fellowship in Functional Psychiatry under the supervision of Dr. Greenblatt, the founder of Psychiatry Redefined. She is committed to offering a trauma informed holistic approach to treatment that focuses on treating the underlying cause of mental health conditions in order to help achieve optimal health and well-being. Dr. Bohn is dedicated to partnering with each patient in a collaborative manner in order to create a personalized treatment plan for recovery.
Ashley has worked in Behavioral Health treatment since 2013. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Urbana University after obtaining a lacrosse and academic scholarship. She completed her Master’s in Forensic Psychology and has obtained full licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor. She is currently completing a doctorate degree in Applied Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Ashley has worked as a Primary Therapist since 2015, with a concentration on treatment of substance abuse, mental health, and trauma. She is trained in somatic trauma approaches, EMDR, and is always open and seeking additional training to best provide an individualized treatment for each client that she works with. She is passionate about working with those suffering with addiction as well as volunteering with veterans as well as LGBT+ community.
Drake serves as Executive Director, overseeing operations and strategic initiatives to ensure excellence in behavioral health and addiction treatment. With over six years of experience in the industry, he brings extensive expertise in program management, clinical operations, and client-centered care. A Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II), Drake is deeply committed to guiding individuals toward lasting recovery. Originally from Kentucky, he relocated to California to advance his career in addiction treatment. His deep understanding of the field, combined with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, ensures that individuals seeking help receive the highest standard of care. Known for his leadership and compassionate approach, he has been instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, driving successful client outcomes, and strengthening alumni engagement.
